Becca and I grew up together… I literally don’t remember ever not knowing her. When we were 9 or 10 years old, her family moved down south. Since then we’ve only seen each other about once or twice a decade, so you’ll forgive me if it takes some getting used to when I see this person (who in the bulk of my memories is still 10 years old or younger) suddenly show up as… a mom! What’s even stranger is that we’re now the age that our respective parents were when we met. O the inexorable passage of time…
Anyway, Becca is also a photographer and wanted to get some shots of her with the newest member of their family. [Side note: my hat is off to all of you photographers who specialize in babies... it's a whole different ballgame than what I'm used to!]
I love the grainy film look of this first one.
