I'm Ryan, and you'll often find me with camera in hand.  I live and work in the greater Philadelphia area providing brides, grooms, and families with cutting-edge photography.  Here you'll find the latest images, news, and bits of this and that from Ryan Estes Photography.  Come back often -- there's a lot happening, both in my life and in those of my clients.

What sort of images can you expect to see?  That's a difficult question to answer... photojournalism + fashion, portraiture + landscape, documentary + candid... real people on the most important day of their lives, and genuine emotions shining through.

One thing is clear: these aren't your grandmother's wedding pictures.  (No offense to your grandmother, of course...)

Sometimes people are surprised when they find out that a lot of photographers are friends with each other. After all, we’re the competition, right? That’s one way to look at it… but it’s also a lot of fun just to get together, share ideas, hang out, and challenge each other to grow in our craft. Recently I met up with Jenn Childress, Sofia Negron, Joy Moody, and Pete Malone. We wanted to get out, flex our creative muscles, and make some great images of each other.





I turned around once to find Jenn & Sofia shooting… a wall. *shrug* :)



Yeah, there’s a story behind this one. We were laughing pretty hard! I’m pretty sure this is the first–and last–time that man-nips will ever appear on this site.







Joy might not appreciate this one, but I do!





We headed over to Sofia’s studio to get some shots inside as well.











Throughout the afternoon Pete was shooting footage to edit into a short film. I can’t wait to see it.

I have to get a couple weddings posted before I have fun editing these images!!!!!! *sigh* Your photos of Pete in the hole look identical to mine, hmmmmm. I do have a few embarrassing man nip that you might not have, oh just you wait Pete! hehehe. So much fun hanging out with you guys! I can't wait to do it again.
