Earlier this month a friend of mine, Mr. Culbert, asked me to come and speak to his 8th grade career class at one of the local high schools. It was a lot of fun talking to these kids about photography, what it takes to get started as a photographer, what my day-to-day working life looks like, all that fun stuff.
And because talking is boring but taking pictures is fun, I also brought a camera and we had some fun taking pictures… who needs to go to exotic locations when you have a pull-down projection screen as a backdrop? 
These two were actually in the same shot, but I thought it worked better individually.
I had a great time hanging with these classes… thanks everyone!
