After the Eagles’ loss a couple of weeks ago, Philadelphia has been significantly less excited about the Super Bowl than we might have been. It’s okay… by now we’ve learned not to get our hopes up. But like everyone else in America, tonight we’ll all be glued to TV sets anyway. The most I can hope for is that all my college friends rooting for the Steelers will be sorely disappointed.
The good news is that it doesn’t matter who’s in the game, the advertising is what really keeps me entertained. There are good years and bad years, but I’m hopeful that tonight, perhaps we’ll get a commercial that will be as classic as this one:
