One of my favorite parts of working in the photography field is going through images the day after a shoot… seeing the look in the father of the bride’s eyes as he sees his daughter for the first time, the groom’s face as he watches her walk up the aisle, the moments captured in a split-second. This is why I do what I do.
Jen & Matt’s wedding on Friday was like that. This fantastic couple, along with their wonderful families, came together to celebrate their wedding… I was privileged to be there to document the day, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
Very special thanks to Heather Fowler for joining me and getting great images as well!
I started at Jen’s parents’ house for some getting ready shots… love the dress!
Then it was off to Ridley Creek State Park where they have a great mansion! Jen & Matt chose this location because they wanted a rain plan… it did rain but as soon as we started the B&G portraits the sun came out! Here they are seeing each other for the first time… this is such an emotional part of the day, I love shooting it!
Love this shot of Jen that Heather got!
Birdcage veils are so awesome… all you brides should really consider getting one!
Waiting for the ceremony to begin.
I love to get the parents during the ceremony.
Then it was off to the beautiful Cescaphe Ballroom for the reception. London kept the dance floor rockin’!
One of my favorites of the day.
You know it’s a Philly wedding when…
What a great day! Thank you Jen & Matt!
