Last Saturday was a blast! I hung out with Rissa & Andy for their wedding in Philadelphia, and the 12+ hours that I was shooting went by in a blur. I have a lot of images here, so I’m just going to let them do the talking.
We started off at the Loews Philadelphia where the couple was getting ready.
I’m always looking for new ways to do shoe shots. How about hanging them from a lamp?
I love the moment when the bride’s father sees her in her dress for the first time.
I love it when kids are part of the wedding… these pictures practically fell into my camera.
Check. Out. The invitations. These were so amazing!
One of the reasons I was excited to shoot this wedding was for the chance to work with Kimberly Fink, a wedding planner who really does amazing work. She’s the brains behind the invitations (and the rest of the day as well), and was able to have them hand-delivered to Rissa’s friends and family in the Phillipines! That’s her below.
The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Paul’s Church.
The veil and the cord are part of the Filipino wedding tradition.
Then on to the Waterworks Restaurant, which is an awesome venue! Sophia Agorastos did a wonderful job making sure the evening came off perfectly.
This picture is kind of an accident. I was trying to get a pretty standard shot of Rissa, but the wind kept blowing her veil around. I think it turned out kind of cool anyway.
I had a lot of competition that day!
Stu Weitz and his orchestra made sure the dance floor was a madhouse!
The groomsmen had some surprise serenades for Rissa & Andy.
Right before we left, we grabbed Rissa & Andy for a few night shots.
A huge thank you to SAS Becker who joined me for the day, gave her camera a workout, drove my car around, and definitely worked overtime!
Congratulations, Carissa & Andy! It’s been a pleasure getting to know you both! (And I’ll have a slideshow up for you soon…)
