What can I say? Karen & Dave’s wedding at Appleford Estate on Saturday was a ton of fun. The staff at Appleford and Max Hansen Caterer were so easy to work with, Karen and Dave were so relaxed and affectionate toward each other, and the talented Nicole Polk came along for the day to lend me a hand!
This might be my favorite image from the whole day… Karen was on her way downstairs to see Dave for the first time… he was waiting in the garden outside this window.
Dave, waiting for Karen to come outside.
Beautiful flowers by Tish Long.
The flower girl came booking up the aisle…
Probably because her dad was standing at the front, officiating…
I love the little moments during the ceremony that are filled with emotion.
This isn’t the best picture I’ve ever taken, but I love the moment… right after walking out of the ceremony, I turned around and saw this. It says it all.
Always a crowd-pleaser, the Superhero Ring Shot!
Another great moment between Dave and his mom.
Oh yeah, did I mention there was a photo booth?
Leave it to the Germans to come up with a crazy tradition like drinking from 2 ends of a cup at the same time!
At the end of the night they had soft pretzels with a little of Grandma Shirley’s Spicey Mustard!
It was a real sing-along crowd!
I think you can see Karen & Dave snogging in there…
Pete from First Floor Films was there too, making cinematic masterpieces. We couldn’t resist jumping in the photo booth too…

Thanks to everyone who made this day happen — it was an honor to be a part of it!
